Announcement    I have finally had to come to terms with the fact that my health has deteriorated to the point that my jewellery making and silversmithing days are over. My stash and tools are now just beautiful and much loved dust collectors. Over the coming weeks and months I will be destashing. I am starting today with a couple of sets of lampwork beads - I have cupboards full of stuff so its worth checking back weekly. For instance, I have just sold my Foredom and my Hammer Head attachment. Good stuff is in the offing! It depends on how I'm doing as to how quickly it will be listed. If there is anything wrong with the pieces I hope you know me well enough to know that I will be more honest than is good for me and flaws will be photographed and written about in gory detail.

Big love and thank you for all you support in the past.

Hello!
Welcome to my Etsy shop; the first thing to say is that I am very convo friendly – after all, who doesn’t love to get a letter – if you have any questions at all then do email me or send me a private message. I seem to spend as much time at my computer as I do in my workshop, so the chances are I will get back to you within a few hours.

Payment
I only accept payments using Paypal and, unless we have discussed and agreed otherwise, all purchases must be paid for in full within 1 day of order otherwise I will assume you have changed your mind and I will cancel the transaction.

Having said that, I will always notify you before I do that – I know all to well how life can sometimes get in the way and in my experience there is always a way round these things. We’ll talk and find a solution.

Shipping
I no longer offer free shipping. This is because, with the price of silver being so high, my margins are very slim and in some cases free shipping erodes them completely. However:

I do not inflate my shipping prices to add to my profit margins, I charge postal charges plus a minimum contribution towards post and packing. Those who have bought from me before know only too well that the value of my packaging far outweighs what I charge – I like things to look pretty!

I mail on a daily basis but I like to keep orders received over the weekend until Monday to avoid the items sitting in the postal service and, just possibly, getting lost. For stock items I usually mail within 24 hours of receiving your order. Obviously, made to order items will take slightly longer to arrive at your end.

I use first class, signed for post in the UK and First Class International Mail for international orders.

Very Important Note: International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries.

Refunds and Exchanges

I obviously want you to be thrilled with your purchase. However, if you are not happy for any reason then please contact me as soon as possible, and certainly within 48 hours of receiving your parcel so we can talk about things.

Please note that custom orders and designs are non-refundable.

If your package arrives damaged in any way please take photos of the package prior to opening and document details of any damage to the jewellery itself or to its gift wrapping. Email these details to me so that I can take the matter up with the carrier.

CUSTOM ORDERS
For a remake of a design you have seen in my sold items:
If I have the required materials in stock I require a non-refundable 25% deposit paid up front before I start work on the item, the balance to be paid in full on completion and before shipment.
For a custom design or for an old design where I no longer carry the materials in stock there is a non-refundable £15 order fee, deductible from the final payment on completion.

This £15 fee must be paid before I commence work. Should you change your mind and cancel the order after the deposit has been paid, this fee is forfeited – it contributes to the cost of the materials no longer needed.
For custom orders you should allow four weeks from payment of deposit to completion and shipping. If you require your item in a hurry I can usually help so do contact me to discuss your requirements.
