As a little girl, you could find me with a box of colors (anything would do) and a stack of paper. I was always working on allowing the images in my head to escape into physical existence. As I grew, so did my tastes in textures, techniques- I loved it all, from clay to canvas. I soon became obsessed with fabric, and my grandmother took the time to teach me how to use her sewing machine. I can remember jamming the thing over and over, but she never gave up on me and pushed for me to learn.

My grandmother was a huge inspiration to me growing up, and to this day she still is. She was an avid collector of our family’s genealogy and I spent many hours of my summer vacation leaning over her shoulder as she clipped away on an ancient type-writer documenting each fact. I believe this is where my love for scrapbooking came from. I’ve been “seriously” scrapbooking for almost ten years now- but technically, I’ve been doing it one way or another for as long as I can remember. I started creating albums, layouts and flowers for friends and family after my daughter was born.

This bloomed into a wonderful passion for me, and so, Diva Bee Boutique was born. The name Diva Bee Boutique is derived from my 'three children’. I am blessed to be able to watch them grow while still being able to live out my dream. And I am extremely grateful for the wonderful support from my amazing family!

Every piece in my shop is lovingly made from the beginning- not mass produced. Each piece of material is meticulously chosen, inspected, cut, formed and sewn. I love every step, love keeping my hands busy, and letting my creativity flow. I push for all of these qualities to show in my products as I want you to enjoy them for ages to come, for them to become a part of your history.
