Note from shop owner --------> On vacation until Wednesday January 18th <-------

I'm Doctor Gus and welcome to my shop!

Here you can find a complete line of Original Hand Sculpted Fantasy Jewelry, Upcycled Silverware Jewelry and tons of components to use in your own projects... usually, that is.

I'm going out of town for a much needed long weekend vacation, so things are gonna be in Vacation Mode for a little while. Don't panic! I will be right back, I promise!

You can still reach me with a convo or through the usual channels in the meantime though.

I apologize for any inconvenience, please bear with me and I'll be back up and running as usual on Wednesday January 18th.

Thanks as always!

About

Bend it like Doctor Gus!

I'm Doctor Gus and welcome to my shop!

Here you can find a complete line of recycled antique sterling silver plated spoon jewelry. I have spoon rings, twisted fork pendants, and so much more in store.

I'm all about living a sustainable, recycled and eco-friendly lifestyle. But that doesn't mean you can't look good at the same time.

I use a variety of metalworking techniques in my pieces. I cut, bend, twist, and hammer away on long forgotten items in order to form them into a new visual language. These parts are then soldered and wired into new jewelry assemblages incorporating antique and salvaged details.

My favorite materials are antique pieces of silverware, watch parts, coins, and bullets. These once commonplace items are often overlooked or even discarded. Yet they do have an inherent functional elegance to them.

My work attempts to coax new imagery from the mundane. I enjoy taking everyday objects and turning them into something completely different. Call it recycling, call it repurposing, call it eco-chic, or just call it clever. I get great sense of satisfaction from giving new life to some otherwise neglected object. I love that moment of realization i see on a person's face when they come over to look at a cool shiny thing and figure out that it is actually an antique fork!

Browse around my shop, feel free to ask me any questions you have. If you don't see what you are looking for then send me a message, but remember that one-of-a-kind items are hard to keep in stock!

Shipping
Please contact me about any special requests involving alternate addresses or gift receipts as soon as possible.

I try to have most orders on the way with a day. Sometimes it may take me a little longer, but I always honor my "scheduled to ship by" dates.

Domestic shipping is via USPS from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It may take a day or two to pack and ship your order. Once shipped out I generally average 3-4 day shipping to most destinations within the US.

International shipping is also via USPS. Transit time varies, two weeks seems to be about average, but it may take up to a month. The buyer is responsible for any customs charges that may be applied by their country on imports. I have no way to calculate these charges, no way to collect these charges, and no way to forward them to your government. These charges (if your government even decides to apply them) are your financial responsibility.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you'd like to refund, return, or cancel an order please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be more than happy to work with you toward a mutually beneficial solution.

Please ask as many questions as you need to before you order anything. I try to take faithful photos and give as much info as possible so that you know basically what to expect. Just send me a convo. I'm easy to deal with.
Additional policies and FAQs
