Art locs
A few years ago I wanted to add bulk to my dreads, I wanted to add colors without dying, and I wanted it easy. I looked into wool dreads and couldn't find something unique enough to suit me or easy enough to install on my own.
Then I decided to try it myself. It took me awhile, lots of mistakes and a willingness to do what i was told not to do, but I had always been good at that. The result was wool dreads like I had never seen. Marbled, tie dyed, all natural, long lasting, hardy to any product, and so easy to put in!
I made a bunch and adorned my dreads and the response was awesome!! All my friends wanted them, and they got them, then others started seeing them and asking for them too. I started to put some on-line to make it easier for the far away wanters to see and get my art locs, and then it exploded!
I have a facebook page 'Art Locs' and spend everyday working on custom orders. In the time I since I started I have grown in leaps, I now do embellished ends like peacock feathers, hearts, flames, goddess, you name it!
My work is complete collaboration between me and my customer, I take the ideas that the customer has and we create something awesome together! I am so grateful to all your support, I couldn't have come this far without you<3
