About

Dream Weavin'

Dreamsongs started with a Red Tailed Hawk’s feather that I found at work one day. I didn’t want to just keep it flattened in a book somewhere, I wanted to make something meaningful with it. So, what better thing to make with a feather than a dreamcatcher? In 2013 I began making them. After giving a few away to friends and family, I sold them in a boutique for a few months but that was as far as I got. The dreamcatchers ended up taking a backseat when I started to move into higher positions at my full time job. It wasn’t until the start of 2015, when I could balance the work load that I revisited my little baby named Dreamsongs.

The revisit also came with a complete redesign of my product. I wanted to create something different but still true to its roots while being modern at the same time. This is where I am today: creating personas for each style of dreamcatcher so you can find one that best suits you and your personality, while also providing balance and good energy to yourself and whatever room you hang it in. I do this by using natural and dyed quartz crystals and animal teeth for protection and energy, accompanied by natural and dyed genuine feathers to connect you to the skies and the dream realm.

90% of the supplies I use comes from the United States and practically everything that adorns the dreamcatchers is handmade by me or Mother Nature. I weave each dreamcatcher, wrap each quartz, tooth and feather, string the stones, and paint the suede, feathers, and hemp all by hand. Mother Nature pretty much handles the rest.

Ever since I was little, I have been creating. Whether it be doodles and paintings or friendship bracelets and homemade christmas ornaments; Its where I have always felt the most at peace besides being outdoors. I discovered my love for nature at a very young age. My family and I consistently went camping every summer in the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine where I would find my own pieces of nature. Now I take pieces of nature and combine them into something for you. Welcome to Dreamsongs.
