my sticker is curling up!
things to try:
- put between books for 24 hours to flatten with weight.
- gently push the vinyl in the opposite direction of curl with your hands.
- use heat, like a hair dryer, to conform vinyl to your desired surface.
my sticker won’t stick!
- ensure the surface is clean and dry before application. do not wet surface right after application.
- if the surface is significantly curved (like a water bottle) try use a hair dryer to conform vinyl to the shape. tape or tie it down for 24 hours.
- beware of highly textured surfaces. stickers will stick best to flat, shiny surfaces!
- for maximum durability on high traffic surfaces, consider putting stickers under a protective surface, eg. a clear laptop shell
