I looked for the pattern for this sweater as a result of the model wearing it in the pattern for Ballet gloves. It is so cute, I was very glad to find the pattern was available. Have not yet tried knitting this one, but the pattern is clear, with lots of links to tutorials for specific techniques. Would suggest more photos in the download, especially for pain points like the underarm. :) Recommend this seller.

Made this tank top with fabric from Blackbird: Disco Check Organic Cotton Jersey, 95% Organic Cotton / 5% Spandex, 4-way stretch, 70% cross-grain / 80% along grain-line. My measurements are: bust 34", waist 27", and hips 37.5." I selected size medium per the size chart and found the sizing to be great; comfortably snug as I was hoping for. I don't have a serger so made with only a sewing machine. The pattern instructions are easy to follow. I found stitching in the ditch to be difficult especially when needing to use a stretch stitch so, I ended up using a twin needle with lightning stitch to finish the hem and bindings. My only problem was the pattern creates a point at the side seam hem and it seems like the pattern pieces need to be drafted differently to create a more even transition.

I knitted it as a last-minute project and, despite being a beginner with little experience, I had no problems. It was great fun, and I would definitely knit it again!

This pattern was overall really good, I would recommend planning on doing a practice dress with an old sheet or something to get the construction down. I purchased nice fabric for this for a wedding and didn’t want to mess it up on my first go round. It’s extra work but I think it was so worth it to get it right when it mattered! Easy to adjust, I made the sleeves shorter and also made the shoulder length shorter. For reference I am 5”3 and this dress without hemming goes to my ankles rather than the knee/mid calf like the pattern suggests. Putting together the patter pieces and cutting was confusing and some things didn’t like up perfectly but with a little creativity you can get it to work and the dress does fit me as I would like!
