We take pride in our products, customer service and fast shipping (we ship within 1-5 business days once payment is completed, depending on how much workload we have). Our customers' satisfaction is our greatest concern!

    All our products here are original and designed/handmade by ourselves!! Please respect our designs & the Etsy community. We reserve the right to protect our intellectual property.

    We create new products and have items on sale every so often!:) Please visit us for new product updates and good deals!!

    We typically keep more stock than it's listed, if you want more than one of any item, just contact us and we will make a custom listing for you!

    If you see any products that you really like in the "sold" section but we currently don't have them, feel free to contact us as well!

    ***NOTICE*** :
    (1) The plants are packaged very carefully but it's best not to have them sitting in any extremely cold or hot weather all day long, so make sure to check your tracking number to know the expected arrival date and bring your package indoors soon. If your temperature is below 32 °F or above 90°F, we recommend to have your package delivered to your PO box, your office or apartment office.
    (2) For shipping directly to the recipient, we can include a free gift note -- just let us know via "note to eGardenStudio" when checkout;
    (3) Feel free to order early and set a later shipping date in the "note to eGardenStudio" when checkout.
    (4) Please double check your shipping address before placing orders, thank you:)
    (5) If you plan to give our air plants as gifts, please do not leave them in the shipping box for more than 3 days once you get the box - if you buy your plants way ahead of time, make sure to take them out of the shipping box and provide them with sufficient water (no standing water though) and light until the gift time - just follow the care instruction sheet! You can also have us ship directly to the recipient so that they can open the box instead!
    (6) If you plan to give our Marimo balls as gifts, please do not leave them in the shipping box for more than 21 days - if you buy Marimo way ahead of time, make sure to take them out of the shipping box and put them in water until several days before the gift time, then you can put them back to the zip bag. You can also have us ship directly to the recipient so that they can open the box instead!

    Our creations are inspired by nature!

    Hello! Thank you for taking your time to read a little bit about us! ☺

    We are Ben and Glenda, a couple that do everything involved in running eGardenStudio, including: creating & designing products, taking product pictures, marketing, customer services (i.e. conversations, emails & phone calls), packaging & shipping, financing, accounting etc.

    We like to create simple yet interesting and unique things for people in this busy world, particularly our tabletop gardens – they are very easy to maintain without taking up much space, so they are a fun addition but not a burden. We like to attach meanings to them, e.g. a name, a personality, a story etc., to make them personal, and one of a kind. A lot of thinking is involved in creating our products & their descriptions.

    We are nature lovers (thank god for all the beautiful nature in Washington the evergreen state!). Many of our ideas are inspired by Mother Nature. Some of our products are upcycled or recycled as a way of showing gratitude to our Planet Earth. We believe that we can do something small everyday to protect our environment.

    Our ideas can be very spontaneous too. It is very common that one day we are doing yard work and then we end up creating products instead because we have a random idea in our head all of a sudden…Ideas spark constantly and we like to capture them before they vanish.

    We are learning something new every day, from every aspect of our small business, from our customers, and from Etsy! We continue to grow, step by step, thanks to all of you!

    Returns and exchanges
    I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations

    The following items can't be returned or exchanged
    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
    • Custom or personalized orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads
    • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

    Returns and exchange details
    We will try our best to meet your satisfaction. If for some reason you are not satisfied with our products, please contact us and we will solve the problem promptly! We will make sure all our customers are happy!:)

    Refund Policy:
    (1) All products will be carefully inspected and packaged by us before shipping. More than 99% of our products have arrived safely to our customers! However, if your items arrive damaged due to rough transit, please contact us within 3 days after the package gets delivered in order to make a claim. We won't be responsible for the damages after the 3-day period sorry.

    (2) If you wish to return your items, please contact us within 3 days after the package gets delivered to make return arrangements. Please note that any refunds issued will be minus the shipping fees since we already shipped the products and paid the fees, and will incur a 20% restocking fee. If returned items arrive damaged and/or not in their original condition, no refund will be given sorry. For custom orders, due to the personalized nature of them, they are non-refundable.
    Payment
    We take payments from Paypal, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, e-check via Paypal, and Etsy gift cards. We also accept credit cards directly through Etsy!

    Please note that e-checks take several days to complete, and we can only ship items once e-check payment is complete. Also, if there is any kind of pending payment, we can only ship our package out once payment is complete. Thanks for your understanding!
    Shipping
    We combine shipping (put all items in one box) to save your shipping costs, so the shipping costs for each additional item would be lower! If you wonder how much extra shipping it would be for an extra item, simply put another item in your cart to see the total shipping costs!

    Please double check whether your shipping address on Etsy is correct before making your purchase, thanks! We ship packages to the exact addresses that are provided on your Etsy accounts. Please understand that if addresses are incorrect, we will not be responsible for any lost packages. If packages get returned to us due to incorrect / inaccurate addresses, customers will be responsible for repaying the postage. Thanks so much for your understanding!:)

    -- For U.S. destinations, We use USPS First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the weight of the item(s) you order. We ship fast -- within 1-5 business days! We provide tracking numbers to buyers in the U.S. The shipping fee includes shipping postage, shipping material and handling. It takes about 2-3 business days for USPS Priority Mail and 2-5 business days for USPS First Class Mail to arrive at any U.S. destination (it takes longer on holidays).

    -- For Canadian destinations, how long it takes to arrive in Canada varies by location. Generally it takes about 1 to 3 weeks (with holiday rush it can take longer), as we use USPS first-class international to save your shipping costs. However, if you would like to upgrade your shipping to Priority Mail International (which takes around 6-10 business days to deliver) or other faster shipping services, please feel free to contact us for the price!

    -- For other international destinations, some of our products are not able to be shipped there due to custom laws. Sometimes we are able to ship them to some countries so feel free to ask us if you really like our products as we may be able to fulfill your custom requests:). We are also able to ship several products internationally such as our planters and vases. Please check the particular listing to see whether we are able to ship that item internationally. The shipping fees (including postage, shipping material & handling) are for the cheapest also the slowest shipping method, which can take 2-4 weeks depending on the shipping company. If you would like to upgrade your shipping to USPS Priority Mail International (takes about 6-10 business days to deliver) or other faster shipping services, please feel free to contact us for the price! Please be patient while waiting for the package, thank you!:)

    Above is only estimated, which means it might still vary some based on weather conditions, customs and other factors. Please understand that we try our best to ship your package out as soon as possible, but once we ship out your item, we have no control on how long it takes to arrive as it solely depends on the shipping company.
