About me
My whole life, I have been an independent person and I needed to create a new source of income for myself.
Though I had no idea how, I began to sew. I began stitching tiny pieces of fabric onto larger pieces making these quilted bomber hats and ladies purses. I work mainly with upholstery remnants so to make each piece unique.
One thing led to another and here I am today making sleeveless Napoleon jackets that are picking up in popularity daily.
My grand mothers are the wonderful ladies who showed me how to knit. I have knitting on and off all of my life and am now learning new stitches and have lots of fun with it.
My wish is to get into mixed media, combining fabrics, yarns and what ever comes my way to make eclectic, yet cohesive wall hangings, or perhaps include them into wearable art. I just don't know where to begin... It will come to me one day. I will let the creative juices flow and see what I can come up with!
