What do we put in my basket?
èNADé, une histoire de fibre
A graphic designer by trade, I created my brand of handmade jewelry and accessories “Dans mon Corbillon®” at the end of 2010.
A lover of beautiful materials, fashion, design, the know-how of Artistic Crafts, I like to mix different techniques, compare colors, materials, look for new forms and thus offer unique and original pieces.
I discovered felted wool a few years ago and am passionate about this natural material which allows me to create my own nuanced patterns or colors, with great freedom of shape, flat or in volume, with matte surface effects. or shimmering thanks to the addition of silk fibers.
I find it interesting the transformation of an initially simple material which becomes noble and luxurious with the addition of silk, embroidery, ribbons, pearls, sequins...
People are always amazed by the great softness of wool, this is because I use very high quality raw materials, 100% merino wool rovings, very fine (from 14.5 to 19 microns) and silk, synonymous with extreme softness and lightness.
As a child, I was passionate about sewing and embroidery. My grandmother taught me crochet very early on and I was fascinated by her lace made with a hook as fine as a needle! I have always worked with my hands, drawn, tinkered, made clothes... Hesitating between fashion design and graphic design, it was a failure in the entrance exam for a textile school in Lyon that ultimately made me choose the School of Fine Arts of Saint-Étienne, today ESADSE. I continued my studies in visual communication and then launched into working life as a graphic designer within my own company. This exciting job, while managing a business, put a damper on my manual activities for many years. And then with digital technology, being constantly in front of a screen, the lack of manual work was felt. The wave of promotion of handmade made me decide to relaunch myself in artisanal creation while continuing my activity as a graphic designer.
In 2023, following a change of life, a move to another region, I decided to change my brand name, and thus èNADé was born.
