EKINAKIS
Ekinakis is a brand founded by Ekin Büyükşahin. In September 2013, Ekin decided to collect and share some of her works under the brand name Ekinakis. Since then, she has been capturing the attention of art lovers from all over the globe.

EKIN BÜYÜKŞAHIN
Ekin Büyükşahin was born in Ankara and got her bachelor's degree on viola from Bilkent University Faculty Of Music and Performing Arts. She was always interested in photography and illustration along with her music studies.

Following graduation in 2008, she worked professionally as a photographer, a music teacher and a freelance artist for five years. In 2013 she decided to concentrate on drawing and painting. Inspired by real life and fictional world, she created a character series, which consists mainly of an assortment of portraits. Ekin’s preferred media are mostly digital, watercolour and acrylics.

Ekin has been featured in numerous publications, has been commissioned new works by individuals and corporations since the past five years. She continues her artistic activities at her atelier in Izmir.
