awesome device. having a lot of fun. i've played with a lot of little noise boxes, & they all start to sound the same & sort of work the same. though this thing is similar, it's also quite unique in other ways, so it was not a redundant addition to my arsenal. thank you for a quality build!

My suggestion to anyone interested in making Noise, Harsh or otherwise, is that you invest a little money and a lot of time in Electro Lobotomy's creations. The Direct Energy Weapon is absolutely filthy, with the ability to make a Harsh Noise Wall that would make Merzibow proud! It can also create radio wave-like sound textures, and pitch shifting reminiscent of an Envelope Filter. These can be "glitched up" by the Weapon's internal distortion circuitry. Mr. Townsend made a custom version for me that has two 3.5mm audio output copies. These can double as CV outputs that allow the D.E.W. to modulate itself. I also bought the Momentary Joy attenuator, and the sounds the machine was able to make were like something from "Event Horizon." Do yourself a favor, if you love Sound Crafting: get an E-Lobo Rig!
