My name is Emma Ekstam and I'm a freelance illustrator and artist currently based in Stockholm, Sweden, where I attend the Konstfack university college of arts, crafts and design.
My work often focuses on nature themes, an interest that goes back to a childhood fascination for birds and plants, and now it works as allegorical symbols in my paintings.
I produce my artwork predominantly with freehand drawing and intaglio printing, then I go on using watercolor and gouache.
