Announcement    Welcome to Equus Fancy! Thank YOU for supporting small business.

I will be revamping my shop so stay tuned!
If you are requesting a custom piece of your dog or pet, photos are needed; or if you have a photo YOU took and want it painted, then that is fine. I will no longer use other photos for reference unless they were taken by me, my family, or close friends (even if I was given permission) or the person requesting a painting. You can check my custom dog art listings to see the process of starting to finish (in 5 photos because that is all Etsy gives us).

I LOVE upcycling all kinds of things into jewelry or cards or just sitting down with a pencil, paintbrush, or even a stylus to create art. Here you'll find I put a lot of work and effort into the items I sell and if you aren't happy, neither am I. I do custom orders and will always put the customer first.

I have experienced the most incredible stories from my items, especially the fly fishing fly earrings that have just made me realize it is the small things that can mean the world! I lost my horse, who was an OTTB (off the track Thoroughbred) rescue and for every horse purchase, I am going to donate part of the proceeds to an OTTB organization (such as ReRun) or to our local horse rescue. I also donate to the Wounded Warriors program that teaches/offers fly fishing as a form of therapy or for wounded soldiers to learn how to fly fish in a wheel chair or with their artificial limbs. I recently got out of the Army and know the healing power behind fishing. So feel great about shopping with me and helping in the smallest ways.

Now that I've graduated from graduate school, I can now focus on the finer things in life. Horses are the passion that drives my creativity and overall happiness in such a chaotic world. My shop is unique in the fact that I offer many other products related to the outdoors and nature, not just equines. I always have my camera with me and this has allowed me to take incredible wildlife and nature photographs. I also enjoy crafting jewelry and making wreaths. I get that from my mom (who was raised in the mountains of North Carolina, carrying on the Appalachian tradition of quilting and making dresses from flour sacks).

My shop has many items including upcycled fly fishing fly earrings, hand-made cards for every theme or just because, photos of anything and everything, especially equines, and my artwork that I've managed to find time to finish. Please feel free to browse and check out my website for other items.

Buying Notes:

When scans or HD photos are mentioned in an art listing, that means the original has been scanned in via a scanner then made into a high resolution digital file. So yes, I can go in and manipulate colors. The HD photo is where you take a high resolution photo of your art, forgoing the scanner. This also ends up in a digital file. Most of my prints are not really for the fine art collector because my prints are open editions and printed on various materials (wood, metal, paper, glass, etc). I do have originals for sale as well as the prints.

The photos will not have a watermark but will have my signature/printed copyright on the back. Artwork is mostly prints, as I do not sell originals or have already sold them. My signature will be on the reprints. I can do custom work and if interested, email me through etsy.

All photographs and images are copyrighted, © Pamela Corwin, and may not be used or reprinted without permission. Purchase of prints does not transfer copyright ownership.

About EquusFancy

Sales 1,576
On Etsy since 2013

For every nature and outdoors lover

I have been doing artwork and photography for awhile now and recently started making jewelry. I had made a pair of the upcycled fly fishing fly earrings and wore them to a fisheries conference and boy, the women there went nuts! I ended up making a few pairs and decided to try to sell them on Etsy. I also donate a lot of artwork, prints, jewelry, and cards to various organizations (Audubon Society, Sierra Club, Wildlife Federation, etc etc) and had many people ask for custom orders. Well, that is when I broadened my etsy page. Speaking of my etsy page, you're probably wondering why EquusFancy. I wanted another name but it was already taken but for you that don't know me, I am very passionate about horses. I don't mean I like them. It is beyond that. I am extremely passionate about wild horses. I have plans to add more horse art and photos but Equus is the species of the scientific name of the Feral (Wild) horse. Yes, I know, I'm a nerd, but hey, we all have our interests. But why have an etsy shop when I have a job and a passion? Well.....
I'm getting out of the Army guard and wanted something to fill that void. Plus, I love unique, nature-outdoorsy jewelry and I know there are plenty of people out there that do as well.
My "shop" is my little craft room, where I can go to get away from the world if I can't get out fishing or hiking. I suffer from an Army injury so I can't run as much as I used to so I have focused on walking and creating. I enjoy the happiness and excitement that my items bring. My aim is not to really make money but to provide something unique and nature-ly gratifying.

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my little corner of this cultural & creative community. I am very excited to bring you quality, original paintings, prints, photos, and a variety of crafts.. A lot of my jewelry is upcycled, meaning I've taken unused, old flies or fishing spoons and made into jewelry. Some jewelry is made with vintage pieces. I love the idea of being able to send someone a little piece of what makes me whole....being able to capture the essence of the great outdoors or the beauty of all creatures, great or small.

Returns and exchange details
All sales are final, so be sure to ask any and all questions before placing an order! I will not refund on a personalized item unless it is misspelled on my part. If you send me a message and it is misspelled in the message, I can't help you. I will not refund on a shipping delay or if your item didn't arrive when it was supposed to unless you paid for overnight shipping OR I didn't ship it out in the time allotted on the shipping profile. I'm sorry, but I'm not responsible for the post office workers. Once it leaves my hands and goes to the postal worker, it is out of my control. If you decided to return the item(s), return shipping is PAID BY THE BUYER.
I do want everyone who shops at my store to be completely satisfied though, so if any problems arise, contact me and I am sure we can work something out. I am human and make mistakes so if a fly falls off the earring or a piece breaks, please don't hesitate to contact me. If something happens to your favorite pair and you want another, message me because I will offer a discount. Now, if an items breaks because you dropped it from a 50ft building, sorry, I can't replace it unless you pay for it. Although, if it doesn't break from a 50ft fall, I'd be pretty impressed and would want to know:)
Payment
I accept Paypal & all major Credit Cards! You do not need a Paypal account to buy from me! I will accept a check but will hold it until it clears the bank. Once it clears, I will ship your item(s) out.

There will be an option in the check out that says "check/money order". I want to make my customers as happy as I am, so I can work with everyone!

LAYAWAY:
If you are short of funds but have found that 'special' item, a layaway plan can be arranged. Basic terms are 50% down - nonrefundable to hold the item. The balance must be paid off within one month (unless prior arrangements have been made such as with original art) or the entire payment will be forfeited. I prefer to set it up with no more than three additional payments but this is negotiable. Payments can be made either via paypal or directly to me by credit card or a cashier's check/personal check. However, if it is a personal check, it will be held until cleared. Once the item is completely paid for, it will be shipped. There is a 5% additional charge for layaways. Should you wish to use the layaway plan, contact me before making the purchase so that layaway payment dates can be arranged. The minimum purchase amount on a layaway is $50.

TRADES:
I will consider offers to trade. I "oohhh and aahhh" at a lot of beautiful items on here. Message me and we could possibly work something out. I LOVE horses, turquoise, and really, anything unique.
Shipping
▲ I ship all items to the address listed on your ETSY or Paypal account! (unless you write me a message telling me otherwise during the ordering process).

▲ I ship all listed items within the listed amount of days after I receive your order and funds. All shipments come with insurance and a tracking number. I AM NOT responsible for the post office delays, loss of packages, or mishandling. That is out of my control and I will work with you to file a claim if need be. 2 day shipping with the post office is NOT guaranteed per their rules. The only shipping that is guaranteed is overnight, and I will do that, but it is pricey.

▲ If I am making you a custom piece, allow proper time before your piece ships. I want all of my items to arrive to you as fast as possible, but watercolors and any other sort of art have to be dried properly.

▲ All of my art (photo or paintings) (no matter the size) are shipped in a sturdy, padded mailer to ensure that they arrive safely. Jewelry is shipped in a padded envelope. Other items are shipped per basis, such as wreaths or other crafts. I will always let you know when I have shipped an item.
Additional policies and FAQs
All copyrights remain with the Artist and does NOT transfer with the sale of any painting, photo, or piece of art.

ENLARGEMENT PRICING
All images are professionally printed and available in a variety of sizes. Please message me with sizes.

GALLERY-WRAPPED CANVAS PRINTS
Images can be professionally printed on premier art canvas which gives every photograph a rich, artistic texture. Gallery-wrapped sides can be stretched with the picture, a solid color, or having the picture/painting wrap around. Finished prints are ready to hang...no framing needed! I normally do mirrored image on the sides to keep the main photo/art on the front. Sometimes, a wrap-around will do. There's 2 options for wood frame thickness: the standard is 0.75". For a small fee, you can get 1.50" which makes it pop off the wall more.
Message me with a size and I can give you a quote. I have some for sale already in my shop so check those out!

I can also do printing on metal. Message me with ideas and sizes and I'll provide a quote.
