My artwork features original watercolor depictions of the little things in nature that we see everyday but might never fully examine. My goal with isolating the subject on a blank background is to make the viewer fully focus only on the little details depicted through simple lines and brushstrokes. The paintings on vintage library due date slips and card catalog cards are a way to feature creative reuse while giving a second life to a little piece of literary history (and paying homage to my career as a librarian!)

Hello there! Through my work, I aim to have the viewer focus through the use of simple lines that capture the beauty revealed in each of the smaller details.
