It all began when Celia (my mom) began taking a class on herbal home remedies. She was so intrigued learning about natural ways we can take care ourselves, that she began to share many of her findings with me. (Kathryn her daughter)

One day my Mom and I were having a cup of tea. She recently decided to ditch the store bought tea bags and instead use fresh peppermint which she got from the market. The difference was so incredible. I've never felt so invigorated after just drinking one cup of tea! I said "Mom this mint tea is AMAZING! It taste so fresh and I feel really great."

At that point we both committed to learning all about the different types of mints and their benefits. Mint not only tastes and smells amazing, it is so great for your body.

As we became more educated, we both made serious lifestyle changes. We began using more organic products in our everyday life that had less synthetic ingredients.

In addition to both learning on our own, my Mom began taking courses for making body care products.

She learned how to make sugar scrubs, bath salts, body butter and more. After much experimentation and feedback from family and friends she perfected the formulas.

We decided to work together and take some of my Mom's amazing creations and develop a full product line.

Our signature body butter has been a huge hit! It is a great moisturizer and does wonders for your skin especially during the winter. (We are from Wisconsin so we know a thing or two about harsh winters.)

We are having the time of our lives working on Essentially Mint! We love each other so much and are so blessed to work with each other every day. We also love that we are creating natural body products that other people will love.
