4 out of 5 starsI did review the description fully before buying and thought that a *slight* change of color would be fine, as long as the colors indicated were accurate, as every picture posted indicated that the accent colors were the pink of the planets/ufos and the green of the trees. The blanket not actually having pink it is as it appears did sting, as I did splurge on this item and paid a lot more than I preferred for a big birthday this week because I loved it so much. So I am pretty bummed, but it is a beautiful blanket. I really don’t want to bother the seller about it, it’s quality work, the color differential is just way more than *slight* so I’m going to go slightly cry into the ether now, but I will get over it. I just wanted everyone to know that there wasn’t any pink. Otherwise a very well-crafted item that is beautiful.

Thank you for this thoughtful review, and for your honesty. That means a lot, and I'm sorry the color came across so differently than expected. You've put your finger on something I need to explain better: because these pieces are woven (not printed or dyed), colors like pink or purple are actually created by interlacing strands of red, white, and sometimes gold or black together rather than using a single pink yarn. From a distance, those woven combinations blend and read as the intended shade, but up close you can see the individual threads that make it up. I'm going to be updating my listings now to explain the weaving process and show close-up photos of the color blends so future buyers know exactly what to expect before they buy.
