"Old" and I are best friends!
Vintage has always been part of my life. I grew up surrounded by old barns and houses with attics brimming with things our thrifty predecessors couldn't bring themselves to throw away. My great aunt used to take me junking in her cool vintage Plymouth Woody (which she used for her egg route during the week). Something about dusty barns impressed itself on my youthful mind... and that was that.
I now live and work in Brooklyn where I'm surrounded by the results of this impression... just wall to wall old stuff! I'm a mixed media artist and use these fascinating materials in my work. But frankly, I'd need a few extra lifetimes to use it all. Thus I opened my Etsy shop... to share some of this with others.
You'll find anything and everything here. I love it all... from hardware to Limoges with a particular fondness for handmade items. I'm a sucker for the tender mends in old textiles, leather bound books and wooden chairs... oh how I love chairs!
So enjoy your browse through my attic. But to complete the picture... do imagine arriving in a navy blue 1949 Plymouth wagon with chicken feathers in the backseat!
