It all started with a little sheep named Shiloh... then Shiloh became 'Mama,' and Fern & Emma joined her... then Fern & Emma became mamas, and now they're both grandmas! The sheep came first, and I had to find a use for all that wool! I taught myself to spin, and knit, and started stockpiling The Stash, aka inventory.

I maintain a small flock of Romney & Bluefaced Leicester sheep, from which I process and market all of the wool myself. It takes a while, but I love doing it all by hand - I connect with each skein, each scarf, and then pass them on.

Aside from the sheep, the part I love most about marketing my wool products is the 'local' aspect of it all - buyers know exactly where their purchases are coming from - and in my case, from which sheep!
