The Road So Far....
Cross Stitch Patterns and Designs created by Ange - the geeky girl behind fiddlesticksAU.
Ange was raised in Auckland, New Zealand during the 80’s and grew up imagining she would become a Walt Disney animator. After jumping the ditch to attend film school, she is now based permanently in Melbourne, Australia.
The film and animator thing didn’t work out - but she now funnels her creativity into cross stitch design, listing her first pattern on Etsy back in 2012 (The Goonies!).
Currently working from home for a Sales and Marketing business doing lots of technical and data-type things, she runs fiddlesticksAU after hours and in any spare minute she gets.
She’s been working closely with Mr X Stitch, XStitch Mag, Disney Cross Stitch and has been featured in Crossstitcher and Cross Stitch Crazy magazines.
Ange also wrangles a husband, 3-year old boy and a Springer Spaniel (aka stitching buddy).
