Born from a Bad Candle & a Typo-Induced Meltdown
I’m a mom, graphic designer, community volunteer, and lifelong fan of a well-worded retort. Over the years, I’ve poured my time and energy into volunteering at my kids’ schools and in the wider community—organizing events, leading projects, and stepping in wherever help was needed. It’s been a labor of love (and occasionally, controlled chaos), but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Professionally, I’ve worked in graphic design for years, with a passion for clean lines, clever ideas, and typography that doesn’t make my eye twitch. My brain is wired for detail and creativity—whether I’m designing a logo, crafting a flyer, or spotting a typo from across the room.
This candle shop was born out of equal parts frustration and inspiration: after receiving a horrifically scented candle with a label full of errors, I figured… I can do better. And I did. Now I create candles with humor, personality, and labels that won’t make you cringe—unless it’s on purpose.
This shop is my outlet—a little light in the middle of the madness of work, life, and endless volunteer commitments. And if it makes you laugh while it makes your space smell better, then my job here is done.
