Hello there and welcome to Flora and Mode!

I’m Jess, the shop owner and I am so excited to share my love of embroidery with you!

I graduated university with a BA in Costume with Textiles and fell in love with the embroidery in which I specialised. I just knew I had to incorporate it into my future somehow and so this little part-time venture was conjured up in my mind! Now that I have now finished studying and, whilst we are still in the midst of Lockdown here in the UK, I spend all day, every day embroidering and so I thought it was the PERFECT time to bite the bullet and go for it. So here we are 😊

My embroidery uses a unique combination of digital, free-hand motion and hand embroidery and every item listed is designed, stitched and packaged by myself from my childhood bedroom in Hertfordshire so you can be sure you are getting that personal touch with every order. I am always on the look out for inspiration so if you have any ideas you want to be made a reality then please send them my way!

My aim is to make you feel fabulous and bring you a little bit of happiness through wearing positivi-TEES (sorry, I cringed too).
Everything is made and packaged with love so I hope that you are satisfied and find something to tempt your fancy.

Custom and personalised orders

Sizing details

All T-shirts are unisex. For women, this give the oversized 90s look that I love. But if you prefer a more fitted look, please go down a size.
Men's sizes are true to size.
Please refer to sizing guide and images within product images for more info.

Care instructions

Though every effort is made to make tees nice and durable, embroidery can be delicate. Therefore, to ensure a long life for your T-shirt (and the world) please:

- Wash with similar colours
- Wash inside out at 30C (this helps to prevent any snagging)
- Hang dry
- Iron on reverse on a cotton setting
- Do not bleach or tumble dry

Gift wrapping and packaging

All t-shirts are wrapped in acid-free, machine glazed (MG), recyclable tissue paper and polythene mailing bags, making your shopping guilt-free with no adverse impact on the environment!

A handwritten gift note can also be included in the order. Just send me a message after purchase!

Sustainability

All t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton. We are a slow fashion company, giving you the pleasure of wearing beautiful, well-made, and lasting clothing. This does mean that products are a little bit more expensive and take a little longer to arrive as I personally embroider, wash, press and package your order. But I promise that it will be so worth it!
