Hola a todos. Me llamo Tabatha y soy artista multidisciplinaria y zapatera. Vivo en Albuquerque, Nuevo México, EE. UU.

Este trabajo solía ser mi día a día; durante una década, me dediqué a la confección de ropa para bebés y niños pequeños. Dedicar tiempo a la escritura, la pintura y la música me brindó libertad a lo largo de mi vida. Ahora, coso zapatos cuando me inspiro en las telas, a menudo mientras paseo por tiendas de segunda mano. Hermosos pantalones antiguos de pana de rayas gruesas hacen zapatos preciosos. Cada par es único; no se pueden pedir en otra talla. Los zapatos de la foto son los que recibes.

Si te interesa crear un par de zapatos a medida con un trozo de tela que te guste, envíame un mensaje. ¡Lo haremos! El envío correrá por tu cuenta, pero no hay ningún coste adicional por crear un par a medida. Los zapatos cuestan entre $45 y $60, dependiendo del tipo de suela.

This work used to be my every-day-all-day; I was a full clothier for babies and young children for a decade. Making space for writing, painting, and music lent itself to freedom across my life. These days, I sew shoes when I am inspired by fabric, often while strolling through thrift stores. Beautiful old pairs of fat-striped corduroy pants make for beautiful shoes. Each pair is one-of-a-kind; you cannot order them in another size. The shoes in the photo are the shoes you receive.

If you are interested in building a custom pair of shoes with a piece of fabric you love, send me a message. Let's make them. You will be responsible for the shipping costs, but there is not an additional cost for building a custom pair. Shoes range from $45-60, depending on the type of sole.
