It depends on the type of photography you are interested in.

If you are a novice photographer who simply wants to take beautiful vintage photos with the press of a button, you may want to choose Point-and-shoot cameras or instant (Polaroid) cameras.

If you are a beginner to an advanced level photographer who really wants to take professional vintage photographs, you would want to purchase a 35 mm SLR or a Rangefinder camera.

If you want to take truly antique looking photos, try a Brownie or a Folding camera for that unique historic feel.

Each and every camera's manual and electronic functionalities are fully tested. At times, a camera's internal light meter might not be properly functioning due to its age, but this will not affect the camera's ability to take fantastic photographs. All music and vintage tech are tested beforehand and any imperfections will be noted.

Whenever we add a new product to our collection, we spend hours cleaning up its lens, body, and every crevice. It needs to be noted that since all of our items are vintage they will have imperfections which will be noted in the descriptions.

For Polaroid cameras, the batteries are inside every film pack (sold separately). For antique cameras, batteries are not needed. For most point-and-shoot cameras, you will need AA batteries. For SLR and Rangefinder cameras, you will usually need Energizer 357 batteries or a Duracell 625a battery. Feel free to ask about batteries for vintage tech. Note: We do not include batteries with any of the purchases, but can direct you do where to buy proper batteries online if requested.

Yes. 35mm, 120, 127, and Polaroid film are readily available online on Amazon, B&H, Walmart, Target, as well as many other online retailers.

35mm, 120 medium format, and 127 films can be developed through an online darkroom service, such as thedarkroom.com. Local pharmacies, also tend to develop color 35mm film. You can also home develop as well (see our youtube tutorial).

Many of our items of vintage which means there could be signs of age or wear. Please look carefully at the photos before ordering.

Etsy provides space for each digital file to be no more than 20mb. All digital download prints’ associated resolution will be limited to producing small prints less than 8x12. After purchasing the images you may request higher quality TIFF or PNG versions for better resolution quality. All medium format film photography files are scanned at 20 Megapixel resolution and all 35mm files are scanned between 5 Megapixel and 20.
