All Gaia Conceptions clothing is handmade with certified organic and sustainable fabrics which have inspired simple, timeless, and ethical designs rooted in comfort and multi-function. Each garment is hand cut and sewn based on your style and size choice for a custom garment made just for you. Finally each piece is hand dyed using fiber reactive low impact dyes based on your color choice. Every item is handmade-to-order at the Gaia Atelier from start to finish in beautiful North Carolina.

We offer an extensive range of separates designed to be worn together, layered or apart. The Gaia collection is the perfect juxtaposition -- elegant yet relaxed, sophisticated and rustic, polished yet casual. Each piece compliments the other, yet stands alone in strength and style.

Because all pieces are hand cut, sewn, and dyed please expect variations in each garment. These subtle differences should be celebrated as the mark of a hand made piece created especially for you!

HOW TO ORDER

1st - select your SIZE and COLOR choice in drop down boxes found with each item. Size Chart and Fit guidance is located in description section of each item. Color Chart is located in last image of most items. Our ETSY color options are seasonal but all our colors are always available at our Mother Site gaiaconceptions.com

2nd - SLEEVE LENGTH : For our jackets, dresses, and shirts you will need to let us know your sleeve length choice in message to seller box during checkout. Sleeve Choices are located in the description section of each item.

3rd - GARMENT LENGTH: You will find each style is offered in a range of lengths options to help you find the one that is perfect for you. For even more options please visit gaiaconceptions.com

CUSTOM LENGTH:
We are unable to accommodate exact custom length request but we do offer even more variations such as shorted and tall at our Mother Site gaiaconceptions.com for folks with unique height proportions.

SIZE and FIT:

Please use the SIZE CHART found in the description with each item to determine your general size. Please don’t order based on what size you are in other companies garment sizes. Basing your desired fit around your true body measurements will yield the best results. Please keep in mind we make CUSTOM CLOTHING here at Gaia Conceptions NOT TAILORED clothing. A Tailored fit requires the body to be present.

RELAXED FIT – order one size up from your measurement

GENERAL FIT - order the size closest to your measurements, it is normal for your garment to be a snug at first, it will relax out after 15-20 mins of wearing

FITTED FIT – order one size down from measurements, this will be pretty tight at first and should relax out after wearing for 15-20 mins. This is only recommended if you have ordered a general fit from us before and are confident the one size down is going to give you the fitted look you prefer.

HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS:
BUST - this includes your breast, not your bra size
WAIST - smallest part torso
HIP - largest part of hip measurement

♥ If this is your first time ordering custom clothing we recommend getting 1-2 items to get an idea of fit before placing a large order.

♥ Please keep in mind that all body types are different and people with the same measurements can look drastically different in the same garment. Nothing beats a visit to your local tailor to get the perfect fit as having a person present can sometimes be the only way to achieve a really specific look.

COLOR:
- Each Garment is dyed by hand with fiber reactive dyes or natural plant dyes. The color chart is located in image 5 with most items. For the best idea of color refer to clothing images.
- Colors will vary depending on your computer's color settings and from dye bath to dye bath. This is the nature of dyeing things by hand on organic fabrics.
✳ Even the same fabric can take the dye differently due to seasonal changes that are more prominent in non GMO organic fiber crops and any slight tone variations due to the hand dyeing process will even out during first few washing.

THE GREEN WASHING SPIN ON THIS IS THAT IT IS A CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM BUT IT STILL INFUSES THIS CHEMICAL INTO THE FABRIC...NO THANKS :)

WE DO NOT USE SOY FABRIC BECAUSE THE RAINFOREST IS BEING LEVELED AT A CATASTROPHIC RATE TO MEET CONSUMER DEMAND . SOY IS THE 2ND MOST GENETICALLY MODIFIED ROUND UP READY CROP IN THE WORLD.

U.S. DOEMESTIC SHIPPING:
All U.S. shipments are sent USPS GROUND Mail with tracking number. You may also upgrade to PRIORITY or EXPRESS shipping. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

❤︎ All orders ship with delivery confirmation which can be used to track your package. We are unable to provide tracking information beyond that supplied by USPS.

❤︎ We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. Please double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order as we are unable to reroute packages.

❤︎ Standard shipping does NOT include insurance.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: everywhere else
All International shipping starts standard at First Class. You may also upgrade to PRIORITY or EXPRESS.
INTERNATIONAL (First) - should arrive 2-4 weeks
INTERNATIONAL (priority) - should arrive within 6-10 days
INTERNATIONAL (express) - should arrive within 5-6 days

❤︎ Most international orders include tracking information. International tracking information is not updated as frequently as domestic shipments and may cease updating once the package leaves the US. We are unable to provide tracking information beyond that supplied by the USPS.

❤︎ Customs and import duties are levied by the receiving country and are therefore the buyer's responsibility. Be sure to check your countries specific duties so there are no surprises.

❤︎ Lost or undelivered package claims can only be initiated for Priority and Express shipping, not First Class. If you would like the ability to make an undelivered or lost package claim we recommend upgrading to Priority on International shipments

❤︎ Let us know if a different carrier such as FED EX or UPS is a safer way to ship in your country. This is a good idea if your countries postal service is unreliable. Please contact us to make payment arrangements for these shipping services as they are often more costly then our current shipping choices and we will need to send a separate invoice.

❤︎ We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. Please double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order as we are unable to reroute packages.

Gaia Conceptions has no control over your package once it is in the hands of USPS. This is especially true for International shipping, once your item reaches your Country it is in the total control of your countries Postal Service. We can not issue refunds for undelivered or lost packages. You will need to contact USPS or your countries Postal Service if they make a mistake with your delivery. Lost or undelivered package claims can only be initiated for Priority and Express shipping, not First Class.
