Please have in mind that soap, lotions, perfumes, humidity and chlorine can make silver jewelry look dull, or even oxidize it.
I recommend to remove your jewelry when you take a shower, swim or sleep.
If with time it doesn't look as bright as new don't panic, just contact me so I can give you some tips on how to clean it up, or ship it back to me and I will gladly do it for you.

It depends on how much the oxidized parts are in contact with your skin/clothes. I.E., on earrings it can be very long lasting, on rings (like the black Lingerie ones) constantly in contact with your skin, the patina will be eventually rubbed off.

Some customers find the fading effect pleasing because the jewelry transforms acquiring a "personal patina" look.
Other customers prefer their jewelry to look just as new, if that's the case, patina can be re applied!

Avoid showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping with your jewelry. The salt, sand, chlorine, sweat and soap can tarnish it.

Avoid using silver cleaning solutions in jewelry with patina or stones, since some chemicals can be harmful, use instead warm soapy water.

Wear your jewelry! your body is constantly polishing it and the oil from your skin protects it from tarnishing.

If patina starts to fade away don't worry, it can always be re applied, I can guide you through the process or you can send it back to me and I'll be happy to give it maintenance.

When not wearing your jewelry keep it in a closed box to prevent contact with air and humidity (avoid keeping them in the bathroom).

Keep it neatly organized so it doesn't get scratched.
