About generationMe

Sales 27,321
On Etsy since 2010

Reusable, Natural and Organic Products for a healthier lifestyle.

An eco-conscious and budget savvy mother of four, (and foster mom to two more), Meg was concerned about the amount of consumables purchased and waste generated by her eight member household. To cut down on expenses and waste, the first switch was to cloth diapers. Their family realized how easy the switch to cloth really was, and began the process of going waste-free in all areas of their home.

When Meg's sister, Beccee, passed away from cancer and sadly left two daughters behind, she became especially motivated to re-evaluate their lifestyle. She cleared the house of chemicals and started exploring the world of natural cleaners. generationMe has since grown out of her desire to be not only sustainable and eco-friendly, but healthier as well.

generationMe has been owned and operated by Meg Smith since 2010. Meg creates and designs all of the eco-friendly family products out of her studio in Wisconsin. Her store has since expanded to include more waste-free products brought to you by some of hers and your favorite brands.

Shop policies

Last updated on January 23, 2023
For years we have been a largely waste-free and reusable product home, and here's why:

1. Less waste. As a family of 8, we make a lot of waste. Replacing some disposable products with reusable has made a huge difference to the amount of waste that we create.

2. Cost effective. We save money by using products over and over rather than tossing and buying more. It makes so much sense!

3. Healthier. I know what my reusable products are made of, and that they are leaving no chemical trace in my home.

4. Higher quality. All of my products are made by hand from beginning to end.

I use all the products that I make, and I am confident that you will love them as much as I do.
