GONET JEWELRY DESIGN
My love for jewelry began as a young child, when I was gifted with a jewelry kit at the age of nine, and began gluing colored glass gems into jewelry molds made up of gold colored metals, in which some were barrettes, others were rings and pins for coats and sweaters. My love for creating my very own pieces to give as gifts was quite compelling as a child.
I learned quickly how to create with metals and gems, and I eventually acquired a small shop to sell manufactured jewelry, while creating my own line of designer jewelry and making small repairs.
I enjoyed customers from all over the world as the styles came into play, however this took up most of my time and before I realized that my passion for jewelry making would eventually lead to selling the shop and designing in my home studio, it soon became best choice, because I'm free from distractions and have more time to devote into my work as inspired.
I realized that my past had a lot to do with customer satisfaction, color, texture and style. From the earth to the sky, the possibilities are endless!
I developed a "Color List" from many inspirations around the world and will sometimes refer to them in describing gemstones and metals by me.
