Crochet is life !!!
I started off making crochet baby accessories when my baby was born. He was so cute and little. I wanted to dress him up all the time in cute little outfits.
A little backstory, I picked up crochet when I was working in childcare. One of my older coworkers would bring her crochet bag everyday and would make these nice hats and blankets every single day during down time. I just loved how quick and easy to her it was.
When I first received my crochet hooks and yarn I purchased from Amazon, I was excited. I took my time to learn the basic stitches and started on my first project which was a hat. It was terrible!!!! So, I packed up my supplies and didn't look back for over a year.
I became a Stay at Home Mom my last 4 months in pregnancy during the novel coronavirus pandemic and thought I had nothing but time to learn. So, I made my entire family these dreadful face masks and added a lining on the inside. We got so many compliments. So, I kept going. I became better and better every project. Once my little one was born, I tried my luck at making him some baby booties. I posted a picture of him on Facebook and Instagram wearing his handmade booties and my friends and family went crazy over them and suggested I sell them. That's when my business started and here I am!
