I remember my grandmother in the following way - auburn hair, cuffed blue jeans, high heels and pearls - mowing her lawn!
Those pearls were part of her "go to" uniform. She was never without them. I once asked her why she wore them all the time and she answered that it made her feel like a lady. I was five and fell in love with my grandmother's pearls and her jewelry. I was hooked.
I am an accountant by trade and have always collected antique and vintage jewelry as it gives me great pleasure and is a wonderful creative outlet. The historical aspect reminds me of how jewelry has influenced the styles and fashions of the past.
I have a passion for all types of jewelry, from the Georgian era to the 1960s and stock a diverse selection. If I had to choose a favorite period, it would be Art Deco or Edwardian. I try to ensure that I have a well stocked shop, with eclectic pieces that will please my customers. I make sure that each piece of jewelry is beautifully crafted and in wonderful condition.
