What are the bookcloth and endsheet?
The bookcloth is the material that wraps the outside of the book. It is the color you see on the covers. The endsheet is the paper that lines the inside of the covers. It is the color you see on the inside of the front and back covers.
How will my text be printed?
If you are just adding a name(s) the text will be in one line right justified at the bottom of the cover. If you are adding a name(s) and the date, the name(s) will be right justified at the bottom of the cover and the date will be on a second line below the name(s). If you have special formatting requests please contact me before placing your order.
Can the text be printed in colored ink?
Unfortunately only black ink is available.
Can a custom order be rushed?
Custom orders can be rushed for a fee. If you are concerned about the timeline of an order feel free to contact me with your shipping zip code and required delivery date. I will layout a timeline with options for you.
Can I add more pages to a book?
Pages can be added to most books. Let me know which item you are interested and the total number of pages you'd like and I'll provide a price quote for the additional pages.
Care instructions
Store your book in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid any contact with water.
If the cover of your book has become dirty, you can use a clean white eraser to gently remove any dust or smudges. Same goes for the pages. A lint roller also works great to remove any dust from the cover of the book.
If your book has become damaged, contact me to inquire about a repair. I can repair most damage for a fraction of the price of replacing the book.
What type of pens are suitable for use with the guestbooks?
For pens, I DO NOT recommend fine point sharpies as they can bleed through the paper.
If you are interested in a felt tip colored pen I recommend Microns or LePen.
Most ball point and gel pens are fine, though I recommend a quick drying gel pen like Inkjoy so that it does not smudge.
If you'd like to receive paper samples to test pens with your order, just make a note at checkout and i'll include that.
