3 out of 5 starsI was disappointed in the head phone stand. There were in screws to screw the base into the metal stand. The nutshell base had black paint on all the corners and the black stand had spots were that needed repainting. I cannot give this as a gift. I need to try to get the paint off the nutshell base and touch up the paint on the stand. I also have to take it to the hardware store to get screw. I did not have any in my surplus of screws. So, I little quality control / attention to detail and I think it would be a good product. Shipping was efficient.

Hi Lynn, We are very sorry that you were not satisfied. We wanted to clarify a few things. We wrap the base, which we make from shells, in a black plastic bag while it dries, and this can sometimes leave a black residue on the surface. So, what you thought was paint is probably just the resin surface appearing black due to the plastic. On the other hand, since the metal part is painted and dried before assembly, it's unlikely that the paint would have gotten onto the base. Nevertheless, thank you for your feedback. You can be sure that we will be more careful in the future. Enjoy using it!
