Creating products that look good and do good
As a child who grew up on a healthy diet of David Attenborough documentaries, National Geographic magazines, playing in the park and trips to the zoo, I’ve always loved all things to do with nature.
As an artist, I draw upon my experiences and love of nature to create my designs and products. Like many I’m appalled at the footage of plastic waste in our oceans, rainforests being cut down and the news of some of most unique animals being threatened with extinction.
With all that in mind my business:
- doesn’t use any single use plastic. At markets all my cellophane bags are made from cornstarch and biodegrade in your food bin! If you buy online I all my paper goods come "naked" in stripy paper bags
- all my packaging, even if you order online, is recyclable!
- my paper goods are only made from sustainably sourced, FSC approved paper stock so no rainforests are harmed
- all my materials are sourced from UK businesses to reduce my carbon footprint And I have committed to donating 10% from every market sale and ready-to-ship item on my online sales platforms to wildlife conservation charities (I choose a different one every month) - so no matter if you buy a card, a notebook or an embroidery you are helping to conserve the planet!
