Hi! I’m Tina Rodas, textile artist, illustrator, and dinosaur-sweater-crocheting enthusiast, and the maker behind hi tree!
From my home studio in Easton, Connecticut, I create woodland-inspired handmade plush toys, whimsical home decor, and soft sculptural objects designed to bring warmth, humor, and a little magic into everyday life.
Before moving to Connecticut, I spent more than 20 years living and working in Los Angeles, building a career as a textile artist and fabricator. Alongside growing hi tree, I’ve designed and constructed custom plush characters, props, and textile builds for a wide range of creative and commercial clients, including Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, AT&T, T-Mobile, Capital One, and the NBA.
My work has also extended into collaborative product lines with The Land of Nod, as well as creative services for brands including Spin Master and Fleur Marché.
Every piece in my shop is designed and made by me, using sustainable materials whenever possible and a whole lot of care.

🌿 A Little More
When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually creating with my two daughters, hunting for thrift-store treasures, tending to my houseplants, or adding googly eyes to unsuspecting household objects.
