Welcome to Hypnotic Dog! We are a husband-wife small business specializing in creating virtually unbreakable beaded wooden, acrylic, ceramic, resin, and semi-precious gemstone collars for dogs. All of our beaded collars are securely crimped so they are fully functional and stylish. We hand-paint our wooden beads and seal them in house for unique options you won't find elsewhere. All collars are handmade by us in Southern California to your pet's unique measurement, for the best fit! We have a special soft spot for bully breeds and our well-tested collars are used by large dogs daily.

How do I size my dog for your collars?

Please message or send an email to hello@hypnoticdog.co with any questions! We are happy to help with any questions or on sizing confirmations. Sending a picture over of the tape measure over your pet's head, as in the size guide is often the quickest way to receive a confirmation prior to purchase.
1. Use a soft/flexible tape measure, not a hard tape measure.
2. Measure around the widest part of your pup's head snugly and select that as your measurement. Please view photo in every listing for visual reference.
⚠️If your dog has a wider neck than head, select the larger of the 2 measures.

Can I walk my dog in your collars?
Absolutely! We recommend our martingale or buckle style collars for walking your dogs. Buckles are only available on our direct site, www.hypnoticdog.co as of now. Martingale chain styles are available as an add-on listing in Silver, Rainbow, Rose Gold, and Black check chains. Our o-ring collars are just as sturdy but depending your dog's head:neck sizing, could slip off when being walked, so we leave that up to your judgment.
Are these made with stretchy elastic, like a bracelet?
No! Our beaded collars are strung through with aircraft grade wire and crimped securely. As FI makers, Hypnotic Dog collars have gone through 500lb pull tests with no damage to hardware or integrity of the collar. These are cute and fully functional collars. Our unique collars are made to be long-lasting and functional for everyday use.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, international shipping is available for selection at checkout. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of their country's imports and duty responsibilities. For many countries such as the UK, the customer is asked to pay additional duties and taxes before the shipment is delivered per their country's import policies.
Which style collar should I get?
This depends mostly on your aesthetic preference, and your type of dog! Send us an email with any specific questions. Collars should always be worn under supervision, just as with any style of pet collar.
Flea and Tick Meds: Topical flea and tick meds interact with both sealed wooden beads & acrylic beads, we do NOT recommend acrylic or wooden beads for those who use topical flea/tick meds.
Martingale chains: Our favorite for walking our pups daily! Please note: with daily wear, all martingale chain styles may show discoloration on light-colored fur. While our martingale chains are water-resistant, we do not recommend for use in daily water wear and recommend removing prior to bathing.
Why don't my collars ship out immediately?
Hypnotic Dog collars are handcrafted and made-to-order specific to your animal's measurements, and we are a small two-person business! :) Additionally, our wooden beads are painted in-house for quality and customizability. Although we have a very quick turnaround in comparison to other vendors, please know we are constantly working to make the process more efficient, while still producing quality products! Etsy listings conveniently have updated processing times, with estimated date of shipment/estimated date of arrival.
Can I hang tags on these collars?
Absolutely! Hang tags, IDs, etc. from any of our 3 options of collars.
SHIPPING TO INCORRECT ADDRESS PROVIDED BY BUYER
Unless the customer indicates otherwise prior to shipment, orders will be shipped to the address provided when checking out. Please check this prior to submitting an order and upon checkout! Anything returned to us due to an incorrect address will result in new shipping charges, which will be the responsibility of the buyer. There will be no shipping refunds on missing packages due to an incorrect address.
What style beads should I pick?
Again, this depends mostly on your aesthetic preference, and your type of dog! For example, some customers may prefer the initial shine to pearl style beads, while others may favor the unique color options and wooden grain of our hand-painted wooden beads. Our ceramic, resin, and semiprecious bead selections are our most durable options due to material hardness. As many 'glam' collars mix materials and bead types; if you have any questions on specific collars and what we'd suggest for your pet, please don't hesitate to message us!
