My original photography crafted into hand-made jewelry!
Out of all the places I’ve traveled, I managed to end up near my hometown of Buchanan, Michigan. After graduating from high school, I went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, TN. I have been traveling here and there since college. Although I have been fascinated with photography my entire life, it wasn't until I started traveling, that I became quite serious about it and realized I wanted to take it somewhere. I started the company iMEJs in 2008 after returning home from a trip to Central America.
Why Jewelry? It allows me to share my photos in a different fashion. I label every piece I make with the location the photo was taken. Many times my customers can relate to the location, which makes it personal. My creativity is unlimited and my passion for photography is only growing stronger and stronger. I am constantly seeking out different forms of jewelry as well as new places to explore and photograph, that will allow me to make unique, personal and artistic jewelry.
Art isn't intended only for walls! Why not wear it? Wear something you love that tells a story. Every piece of jewelry I make, is made with one of my PHOTOS. Every piece has a story behind it, in which I love to share.
Some interesting places I've photographed are; Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, England, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Grand Cayman Islands, Haiti, Mexico, The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Island, Jamaica, Chile, Ireland and French Polynesia. I've traveled and photographed a good portion of the United States as well.
