In this day and age of digital communications, I find that a physical piece of mail is a very special and heartfelt way to send messages to your loved ones. I like to think that your friends & family deserve more than an email or a "txt msg" every now and then!

I think my brand is unique because I don't really specialize in design... I specialize in ideas and feelings. I always try to imagine someone's reaction when they open their mailbox and see a beautiful envelope with a surprise inside. When designing invitations, I try to give the recipient an idea of the event to come when they open that envelope.

I enjoy my Etsy shop because it allows me the freedom to create anything I want, but I really love working with my clients on custom designs. My favorite thing to hear from a client is, "It's better than I imagined!" There's nothing more amazing than partnering up with someone and bringing their ideas to reality. I love to design things and then, before the big reveal, ask my clients, "How would you feel if you received this in the mail?" That's what I strive to create... that feeling of excitement when you know you've received something special.

My "studio" was originally my kitchen table, but it has evolved into taking over an entire room in my house... it's a mess, and is always covered in paper samples, shipping materials, ribbons and envelopes (don't let that picture fool you... I cleaned up before I took that photo). My iMac is my most trusted ally and I always have about 20 tabs open to different paper websites and envelope suppliers. When I see something beautiful (like a rich teal envelope) I am inspired to create a piece of stationery or an invitation to go with it.

That Design & Creative Co. is a small design studio with personalized customer service and a typographic approach to stationery design. We take pride in creating modern takes on traditional monograms, personalized stationery, invitations and gifts infused with our own funky sense of classic style.

As most of my items are personalized I do not make refunds or exchanges. If for some reason you are unhappy with your order when it arrives, please send me an email ( and I will do my best to make it right.

I insure every package that I ship, so if your order arrives damaged, please let me know right away.
I accept credit card payments via PayPal or through Etsy's Direct Checkout.
Your items will be shipped within 3-5 business days of purchase and I will update you with a tracking number as soon as it ships.

If you would like a proof before I print, please let me know in the notes section at checkout. All proofs are emailed to the email address on file with Etsy. If you have another you prefer please provide it.

Transit time is normally 3-5 business days via USPS First Class mail, though if you selected Priority or Express shipping, your order will arrive more quickly. International shipping averages about 3-4 weeks depending on customs.

For international shipments, please note that the buyer has the sole responsibility for duties or customs fees that may be incurred. International shipments may be delayed in customs for up to 6 weeks. It doesn't happen often, but it can happen!

I take custom design requests between January and October! If you're interested in a custom design, and I'm not knee deep in Christmas orders, send me a message with your details and I will work up an estimate for you! Once you approve your estimate, I will create a private listing. Once you check out, I will send a proof for the custom order.

I do offer discounts on bulk orders. Send me a message with your quantity and I'll send you a quote.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards/envelopes come in a set?

Most of my stationery comes in sets of eight or twelve, and the specifics for each design are listed under the "Details" header, above.

Where do I enter the name or monogram I want printed on the cards?

First, choose your quantity & color choices from the dropdown menus, then click the "Add to cart" button.

On the next page that comes up, there's a box labeled "add a note to IDesignThat." Just type your personalization right in that box (along with any other clarifying notes you might want to add), and then proceed through the rest of the checkout options.

Do you offer pads larger than 4" x 6"?

Yes! I can make pads in just about any size... send me a message and I can work up a quote for your custom sized pad.

Custom and personalized orders

I do take custom design requests from January through October. If you have something in mind, just drop me a note and I'll see what I can do! (Unfortunately, I can't take custom design requests in November & December—it's just too busy during the holiday season, and I feel your special requests will not get the attention they deserve.)

You can also modify and make additions to most of my designs. Just describe your modification in the "note to seller" box at check out, and I will send over an artwork proof to make sure you love it before I go to press!

Do you include your logo or mark on the stationery?

Yes! It is standard practice for stationers to include their logo on the back of their notecards as a mark of quality and authenticity.

Will you send a proof before printing?

I only send artwork proofs if requested, or if I feel I need your approval prior to printing due to a custom request. Since most orders do not require proofing, this allows me to get your stationery shipped much faster!
