Taking an idea or an emotion, energy from within us, and translating that energy into something tangible that people can see, feel, hear, touch-- is pure magic. It's a very powerful tool and when harnessed precisely, can be used to spread energy (both positive and negative).

Deliciously designed and prettily painted, colors, shapes, words and textures that make you warm & fuzzy, make you smile, make you feel: happy, hopeful, inspired, loved-- this is what I aspire to create.

For as far back as I can remember, I've always LOVED to paint, draw, design, create stories and make art. In Design school a teacher once told me "Well, you sure know how to make things pretty." In this particular instance, I don't think he meant it in a positive way, but there it was...i make pretty. And I was proud. I embraced the statement and here is my little Etsy shop today.
