I CAN'T stop crafting, thus the name! My life has been an ouroboros of unending art endeavors. I try to do more "useful" things, but I am always pulled back into what I love. Which brings us to here, you and I, sharing an interest in the beautiful.
There was a saying from my youth that must have stuck- something to do with idle hands I believe ;) When I was a girl, I used to sew old pieces of dish rags together to make purses, the obvious next step was quilting, clothing, then costumes. Beading was a way for me to make the accessories that I couldn't afford to buy in girlhood. Now I do it because it brings me joy and it brings other people joy. On top of that, I inherited paints from my Granny Doris and carry on her legacy, as well as learning new skills all my own, like fabricating stained-glass windows in the summer of 2004.
These days I'm fascinated with fascinaters, anything cute to put in the hair and hand-made, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces which I share with you now.
Thank you so much for looking. I hope you are inspired to make today more a more joyous occasion, and blessed be!
