You've all heard the stories people tell when it comes to their passions, it all begins in the classroom, whether you're the genius who's so smart that they're bored, or the rebellious student who mocks the system, it always starts as far back as memory allows. Well, it definitely applies to me.
It all started after I failed a kindergarten spelling test, and the basic math test, and in both cases got in massive amounts of trouble for drawing one the backs of my work material and in the pages of books because I was too bored to focus. Even after I had the differences between drawing paper and work paper drilled into me, I only realized which paper was more interesting, and don't even get me started how I felt when I discovered paper that was half blank canvas, half writing.
I wouldn't call myself a bad student, though school was always kind of boring and alienating, I mean your peers mock you and teachers kind of treat you like the awkward "elephant in the room" when you bring up what you want to do in life.
It really wasn't until senior year in high school that I realized art was a plausible career choice. I mean no one really tells you that, or it's kind of like a side hobby for people with real jobs. But like everything else it is a viable career path that grows and evolves, and changes with the times. Much like the ... er ... art of art itself I like to throw my hand into different mediums and styles of art, however the subjects of this shop are the subjects that I tend to come back to most. There's something I just truly enjoy in working digitally, and I hope to convey that in the works you see displayed here, and on my other online outlets.
