Crafting for life!
I have always been pretty obsessed with crafts. I spent my childhood working on various craft projects, from papercrafts to embroidery and of course, jewellery-making.
My second passion was hair styling and make-up. I loved poring over glossy magazines and recreating the looks on my very patient little sister.
After a few years of studying I turned my passions into a career. I became a hairstylist and make-up artist, working mainly on weddings. I also trained as an Art Therapist and used the joy of art-making and crafting to help children express their emotions.
I started making a few pearl pins for my brides to wear on their wedding day. Then some friends asked me to make some more detailed designs for them....and Ivy & Pearl was born!
Now I get to spend my days at my craft desk and chatting to amazing brides-to-be all over the world and hand-making them unique designs that I hope will bring them joy on their special day.
