Products Inspired by People and Things Around Me
Throughout my life I have always been involved with being creative, either by making things or by playing music. When I was young, I use to love to do paper crafts with my cousins, followed by sewing clothing and learning to knit from my grandma to making quilts and photo albums with my mom! My most favorite class in school was Home Economics where I won the top student award :)
I got very serious about creating things to make money because of my best friend of almost 20 years. She approached me one day and asked if I wanted to share a table with her at the local farmers market.
So I looked at my stash of supplies which included a lot of fabric and a lot of beads (passed down to me from my grandma!) and wondered what kind of stuff I could make. I've always loved hair accessories so I Googled to see what could be done with scraps of fabric and beads and from then on I've experimented with many different styles of making flowers and hair accessories.
The paper and coaster aspect of my craftiness stems from being a part of a card/scrapbooking club. I really enjoy having a few lines of products because it allows me to work on different products at different times without having to ever get board of making one thing!
My products are inspired by the softer, feminine, girlie things around me. This is often reflected by the color and style of fabrics, paper and other materials in my products.
I am absolutely delighted to be able to make something that people will love just as much as I do.
