Jangles By Jan started in the fall of 2017 as a hobby to pass the time during the long Alaskan winter. It was something to keep my mind busy, as well as something I really enjoyed. The name comes from a nickname my family gave me years ago (Jan). I wanted my family to be a part of creating the business name, which is where my sister came up with Jangles by Jan. It's catchy!
My husband is my manager; he helps come up with new ideas for cuffs and has supported me along this new journey. I have gone from stamping the cuffs in a studio apartment in Alaska for just close friends and family to shipping all over the world. I'm honored to sell my cuffs at boutiques as well. I love being creative and coming up with new designs, based off nature which, is where I enjoy spending as much time as possible.
