I was an art teacher and enjoyed weaving and painting after receiving my BED and BFA before I became interested in miniatures as a business in 1981. First I had a full line miniature business where I sold from a catalogue, then I moved onto fimo figures and porcelain dolls, teapots and figures for many years. Miniature portrait dolls were also a passion. Once I started selling online I sold miniature books I scanned from my collection of postcards and antique children's books while designing mini clothing kits as well. Now I love using Corel Draw and Photo Shop and my laser cutter to design kits, miniature furniture and laser lace designs and digital downloads. Miniatures sure can be varied and so interesting, just like life.. My husband John designs micro houses and a few kits too and helps with the business so much. This business is so enjoyable I can't imagine my life without it. We love our family and Victoria B.C. Canada.
