Announcement    Welcome to my paper doll, fine art, photography and knitting shop.

I try my best to present fine quality art, knitted products and photography. I do not have a lot of my photography available at this time, but perhaps later on, I will have more of my lovely photography on greeting cards as well as other items. My photography greeting card logo is Captured Images, with my name on them as well. I started creating photo greeting cards in 1993 and got my Captured Images copyrighted that year a short bit after I was married.

Everything is from a smoke free home. I do have cats, so as every knitter with cats knows, it is very hard to keep the cats out of the way while knitting. Practically impossible. I will try hard to make sure every knitted item is cleaned. Majority of my yarn, is contained away from my pet cats. Except when I am knitting and my two cats like to sit on my lap sometimes when I am knitting. As well as other times when I am working on my other creative work.

When I am doing my still-life photography in my apartment, my cats know not to get in my way of that, unless they want to be in some of the photography. They get photographed on many occasions, as they are so cute.

I am an alumni from the Maine College of Art. I received my BFA certificate in 1990. Majored in painting and minored in Photography. I should have majored in Photography as I love it more than oil painting. I should get back to oil painting someday too. I am a writer, author, cook, photographer, ceramicist, sculptor and also practice other types of art. Sorry if that seems like bragging, it's what I happen to do for creative work in hopes of making a decent living at any or all of that. There will always be some people who will like certain types of work I do, over other creative work I have done. Art and writing are subjective. I just hope that I can please some people. I'm a nice woman and mother.

During my early married years, when my four children were younger, I began creating original sets of paper dolls. I have finished about 40-50 paper doll sets and should get back to finishing some of my unfinished paper dolls. I started thinking some of them possessed a geeky look and stopped creating paper dolls for a while. Perhaps my newer paper dolls someday will look less geeky. Wisdom comes with age.

I have self-published 73 books on Amazon I have self-published novels, lots of poetry books, recipe books and several knitting books. All eBooks and paperbacks. It appears like more than 73 books because my paperback versions of majority of my self-published books, are being added to that number. The first three self-published books of mine, were with the help of AuthorHouse. My paperback versions were self-published with Createspace before they merged with Amazon and Kindle Direct Publishing.
