I opened my Etsy shop as a way on connecting my work to a wider audience. All my friends and family have always told me that my work was so “original and unique” so I decided to put my art out there and happily have had the same response from many people. My studio is located in my home in beautiful Bend, Oregon. All of my designs are original and most start with just one stroke and go from there. Most of the time I don’t know what the end result will be. I draw until something inside says “it’s done.” Then I can sit back and see what my “mind’s eye” has produced. Most of my work falls into one of two “types” as I call them. One is a nature series, that was inspired by my beautiful surroundings and the area I live in, the other is my “mind’s eye” series that I like to say…everyone’s mind’s eye see something different in these…what does your mind’s eye see? The best compliment I have ever gotten from someone when they see my art is that it “speaks to them”, for that I am so grateful and inspired.
