About jwsstudio
I am a freelance artist in Corning, New York who works primarily in oil and watercolor paint. I attended Houghton College, where I received a BA of Fine Art in painting and sculpture. In 2019, after working several years in education and the nonprofit sector, I returned to painting full time. My studio is based in Corning, New York.
I am committed to sustainability and will upcycle/recycle whenever possible. Many of my frames are thrifted and may contain slight imperfections, which I think gives them a unique character and patina. If you require glossy and unblemished items for your space, contact me for alternate framing options.
When possible, I ship my paintings in reused or recycled packaging.
