I ordered a side table from Robb Helmkamp Studio. It is just beautiful. Robb adjusted the measurements at my request, and kept me informed at every step about the projected completion and shipping dates. The table was expertly packaged in a shipping crate, and came with precise instructions for unpacking it. I was completely blown away by the craftsmanship of the table and by Robb's stellar customer care.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe our experience with Robb and his shop. The custom walnut box he created is an amazing example of his skill as a master craftsman. From the character of the board he sourced (I say board singular as he carried the grain around all four corners) to the three subtle pops of aluminum that adorn each edge, to the velvety, no gloss finish it is our humble opinion that Robb constructed the sexiest box in the history of mankind! In addition, he was professional yet super down to earth and generous with his communication and advice, sending updates, sketches, and photographs throughout the process. The packaging and shipping was also top shelf! We truly could not be happier with the heirloom piece we commissioned from Robb. You'd do well to do business with this Artisan! A+++
