I’m Katie. Wife, mother, and the mind behind “Kdesignsspace” here on Etsy.
A good portion of my childhood was spent surrounded by entrepreneurial artists alongside my mother who made and sold functional pottery at art and craft shows on the weekends. My personal creative endeavors have evolved from making and selling friendship bracelets in the 1990’s, to sourcing and selling vintage clothes online in the 2000’s, to now using inspiration from the world around me and my imagination combined with Midjourney’s AI technology and the design program Canva to create the final products you see in my Etsy shop today.
I stumbled upon selling on Etsy when my son was a newborn and I was looking for a way to occupy my mind during those early days of all-day feeding and contact napping. I am also 2/3 of the way through completing my MBA, and now that we are out of the newborn stage, I still enjoy creating designs as a way to decompress from my coursework (and life) after my kids go to bed.
I truly enjoy the creative process and want nothing more than for my designs to bring you happiness and be useful to your creative journey.
