Take only pictures - Leave only footprints - KILL ONLY TIME
As a lifelong artist and designer, I love to draw inspiration from the juxtaposition between life & death, masculinity & femininity, and minimalism & all things ornate. My cumulative experiences are where I quickly grew to love documenting my travel adventures filled with fascinating wildlife, breathtaking scenery, and world class architecture. I started drawing animals, marine life, and mythical dragons at a young age and have expanded beyond that throughout the decades.
During a 3-month sabbatical, I traveled through parts of southeast Asia ecstatic to witness a lush tropical paradise. Unfortunately, I was struck with a harsh reality. Although some parts were beautiful, most beaches were consumed with plastic and debris. I continued to witness this pattern of pollution throughout these tropical islands. I was appalled by the amount of trash left behind at these serene places by ill-mannered tourists. Although this was disheartening, it did not deter me from continuing to travel. My love for mother nature was too strong to let her beauty go unseen. After the trip, I told myself that going forward, to do my part, I would “Take only pictures - Leave only footprints - KILL ONLY TIME.”
